Well, I did it. I wrote a bunch of poems during National Poetry Month. Yay, me! What did I learn, you ask? That when I decide to create something, I'm able to conjure the words. I have a righteous relationship with language. And the only goal I meet every day is brushing my teeth.
Happy National Poetry Month! At least that's what I read on the internet. I'm going to attempt to write a poem a day this month. If I can't, I'll celebrate other poets. This should be fun, and given my efforts to take writing more seriously, impeccably timed.
